Raise The Bar, Educate their Passion.
Life – As we raise the bar and educate their passion, our Mentorship Program begins with us. The moment we speak either to our youth, parents, vendors, donors, sponsors, we speak words of truth through love and respect. It begins with us to be an inspiration and an influence through our character because of the motives behind our purpose, design and belief to gain results in the community. We can’t give something we don’t have, so we have to grow in truth and be an example to show they too can make a difference in life.

“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another” - Proverbs 27:17

The value of mentoring derives from the value of relationships. Show me a person’s closest companions and I can make a fairly accurate guess as to what sort of person they are, as well as what sort of person they are likely to become. People tend to rub off on each other.....as iron sharpens iron. As we take our eyes off ourselves and put them on others, God will allow us to see His vision, purpose and design for us how to love one another.

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can. Hate and anger cannot drive out hate and anger, only love can”

ITO COMPETITION

The beauty, drama, and power of today’s Tahitian dance testify to its resilience in Polynesian culture.

In ancient times, dances were directly linked with all aspects of life. One would dance for joy, to welcome a visitor, to pray to a higher power, to challenge an enemy, and to seduce a mate. Dance is still accompanied by traditional musical instruments such as thunderous drums, conch shells, and harmonic nasal flutes. Modern Tahitian music is enjoyable as well, with a sound that often blends Polynesian rhythm and Western melody.
